Bellevue Hill House
This house is a new build in an amphitheatre-like site looking west over Cooper Park, surrounding trees and city skyline.
At the heart of the composition are the overlapping horizontal planes of concrete and zinc that pinwheel around a central timber stairwell, horizontally framing the views of Cooper Park.
Overshadowed to the north and cut into a rock face to the east, active and passive environmental systems are implemented to balance thermal comfort with expansive western glazing.
