The site is situated in a spectacular location on the northern segment of the Tamarama amphitheatre. The building houses five single level expansive apartments with views over Tamarama Beach.

The form, texture and materiality of the apartment building is influenced by the steeply sloping and elongated site, the natural elements of the sandstone coastline, the bays and beaches, the weathered sandstone headlands, outcrops and sculptural overhangs.

These influences and references ensure a close connection to place, the site and the natural environment.

We have been seeing the building as a headland, the street edge is re-enforced with a sandstone wall as a base, the Ceramic 3 level podium is enveloped with sub-tropical mature planting with the 2 level upper apartments expressed in hand made bricks with curved edges that soften the silhouette against the sky.
