Doble House

This existing bungalow is situated on a rock escarpment in Bronte. The hipped roof is removed and capped with a curved concrete element that supports a coastal landscape. New sleeping spaces are detailed as a series of asymmetrical black frames, sliding forward & back; side-to-side within contrasting white walls to maximize views and privacy, while minimizing impact on the neighbouring 2 storey houses.
