The Cascades

Inspired by the Mediterranean modernist context of Bondi, The Cascades is an extreme re-imagining of a utilitarian apartment building. All but the external walls of the 4-apartment block are to be removed and another level added to create a large 2 level residence atop of side by side 3-bedroom apartments.

The expressive façade is composed by cantilevered curved balconies with rounded forms and planted native edges.

The external expression of archways and rounded forms are also reflected in the warm textured interiors.
